Fallbrook, California at a glance
Fallbrook is a small community located in North East San Diego County; located just 6 miles west of Interstate 15, and 5 miles north of state route State Route 76. Fallbrook is most commonly known for it's lush countryside, scenic rolling hills, and beautiful Avacado Fields (which have helped it gain the title of "Avocado Capital of the World"). Every spring the community holds the Avocado Festival, which draw in thousands of people every year.
The History and Culture
The community of Fallbrook got its name in 1869 from the Vital Reche family who named it Fallbrook after their former home in Pennsylvania. The community treasures its historical churches and the quaint buildings along main street.
Also, Fallbrook is well known for being a community for the arts. It has been called home for many artist, such as Frank Capra (who now serves on the Board of the Local Water District). During the mid-2000s Fallbrook gained popularity with many Hollywood celebrities such as:

In more recent times Fallbrook Middle School was chosen as the location for the Ryan Reynolds movie, "School of Life". Which showed as a very whitty comedy about two teachers and their relationship to their students.
Gardeners will love the Fallbrook Garden Club and their annual flower show where amateur gardeners and designers show off their prize flowers.
Main Street at the Fallbrook historic district is where you´ll find many unique shops. Stop at one of the local gourmet restaurants and sample their fresh grown food.
Wine connoisseurs will have fun visiting the Fallbrook Winery that is situated in the rolling hills of Green Canyon. The micro-climate makes for award-winning red and white wines.
If Golf is your passion, you can enjoy any of 4 amazing golf courses all within 10 miles of town.
Equestrians will enjoy the miles of equestrian trails that are adjacent to some of the groves. If you're looking for a great Equestrian club, you can always learn more about the Silver Spurs.
If you're just looking to have some fun with the family; visit Fallbrook´s 26 acre Live Oak Park with plenty of ball fields, picnic areas and playgrounds for kids of all ages. The Los Jilgueros Preserve is nearby with 46 spacious acres of pristine open space.
